Dr. Linda Patterson
Linda Patterson, Ph.D., is an independent educational consultant working with schools in New York City. Her work has focused on leadership training and support, school-wide goal setting, new teacher induction, teacher assessment systems, professional development, data analysis to inform instruction, curriculum development, and school management systems. Dr. Patterson works with administrators, teachers, parents, and students, to build the school community, provide a rigorous instructional program, and increase student achievement. She assists schools in their adoption of the Common Core State Standards and the teaching assessment Framework based on the work of Charlotte Danielson. Dr. Patterson has served as a school administrator, teacher, and central office administrator, with the New York City Department of Education. She taught Educational Management at Brooklyn College, City University of New York, and teaches Educational Assessment and Evaluation at Empire State College, Saratoga, New York. Dr. Patterson earned a Masters of Educational Administration from the University of Virginia and a doctoral degree from New York University.
